Here's the latest from Kara Lamb at the Bureau of Reclamation as of late Thursday afternoon, January 22, 2015
All, It is with mixed emotions that I share with you I am leaving the Bureau of Reclamation. I have taken a promotion to another federal agency. My last day here is Friday, January 23. It has been an honor working with you on the Colorado-Big Thompson project all these years.
It will take some time to fill the position I am vacating. While the position is vacant, reservoir water levels and some inflow and outflow information for our dams will be available at http://www.usbr.gov/gp/lakes_reservoirs/colorado_lakes.htm. Unfortunately, these e-mail updates for water operations will be temporarily suspended.
Media is invited to call our direct line at (970) 667-4410.
Updates will still be provided over Facebook, specifically for: Horsetooth Reservoir; Lake Estes and Olympus Dam; Green Mountain Dam; Carter Lake Reservoir--which is brand new and worth checking out!; and of course, CAST for Kids at Horsetooth Reservoir.
