Trout Unlimited STRONGLY supports the proposed Windy Gap By-Pass and improvements to the Fraser. We've been working for years to get these changes implemented. If implemented, the By-Pass and other related connectivity projects will help reconnect the Upper Colorado and reduce the impact Windy Gap Reservoir has had on the health of the River. Fishing in the area should improve significantly as the river returns to a more natural condition! For those who were unable to attend the meeting, your voice can still be heard. You had until August 31 to submit a comment on the initial scoping plan, but there will also be future opportunities to comment as the plan is solidified based on more study and research.
